Themes ~ Unlocking Human Potential

While education, science, technology, research, community development, and culture are key themes of Qatar Foundation, all program ideas will be given equal consideration.
In September 2009 Qatar Foundation launched a new outreach campaign to encourage people everywhere to unlock their potential.
The campaign will carry Qatar Foundation’s vision, mission and values out to the Qatar community, throughout the GCC and around the world over the next few years.
“Qatar Foundation is unique among institutions around the world.
Over the last several years Qatar Foundation has created well-integrated centres of excellence in education, research and technology that
form a strong base of development for the future. We have moved into new frontiers that put Education City, and Qatar, on the global map as
a hub where exciting innovation happens".
Qatar Foundation President, Dr. Mohammad Fathy Saoud
QF Radio Programs
The aim of the programs on QF Radio is primarily to promote the activites and accomplishements of Qatar Foundation and its members.
QF Radio is interested in stories of
Unlocking Human Potential.
However QF Radio welcomes Education City university staff, students and people of the Doha community to also make on-air radio programs that advance our knowledge of Education, Science and Research and Community Development.
All program ideas are reviewed by QF Radio as to their suitability for our format. If your concept is successful, we will work with you to develop the program.
This style of radio is known in many parts of the world as a Public Access Radio Model.
While the predominant language of QF Radio currently is English, QF Radio invites Qatar Foundation staff and community members who are fluent in Arabic to volunteer time to make programs.
Developing a Bi-lingual Station
While the predominant language of QF Radio initially is English, QF Radio invites Qatar Foundation staff who are fluent in Arabic to volunteer time to record program features, or to talk to us about your ideas for program making in Arabic language. QF Radio is committed to working towards a fully optimized bilingual program that reflects the cultural values and heritage of Qatar. Please contact QF Radio to join the Talent Pool and talk to us about your ideas.
